CLOSED CAPTIONING IS PROVIDED Perfectionism, Procrastination and Panic: The Role of Executive Function in Academic Reading and Writing
Academic reading and writing are among the most challenging tasks for struggling students, especially given the distractions and affordances of the digital world. As students progress through high school and beyond, text-based assignments increase in length and complexity, placing greater demands on skills and effort. This series focuses on the role of executive function in academic literacy, illuminating the root causes for difficulties and modeling approaches that scaffold and strengthen adolescents' emerging executive function. It is aimed at educators working with students in secondary and post-secondary settings.
The content of these webinars is complementary, but the webinars may be taken individually, or together as a package.
