Section M: Skin Conditions (Pressure Ulcer/Injury)

Description: The Section M: Skin Conditions (Pressure Ulcer/Injury) webinar will give providers at Long-Term Care Hospitals and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities information about changes impacting proper coding of Section M of the Continuity Assessment Record and Evaluation (CARE) Data Set Version 4.00 and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) v. 2.00. Updated reporting requirements for Section M became effective on July 1, 2018, for LTCH providers and will become effective on October 1, 2018, for IRF providers. This webinar is a follow-up to the in-person training that occurred in Baltimore, MD, on May 9, 2018, and will incorporate additional clarification and guidance based on questions received during that event. Specific topics to be covered in the webinar include:

• An overview of changes to Section M: Skin Conditions (Pressure Ulcer/Injury)
