Introduction to the Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP)
Description: The purpose of this webinar is to explain the basics of the Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP). The webinar will provide a basic understanding of the Hospice Item Set (HIS) and Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Hospice Survey. These are the two components of the Hospice Quality Reporting Program. A primary focus of the webinar will be to help hospice providers learn what they need to do to receive their full Annual Payment Update. The following topics will be covered:
• An overview of the HQRP
• An introduction to the Hospice Item Set (HIS) and the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®)
• An overview of Hospice Compare and the public reporting requirements of the HQRP
